New Rector of Quebec and Dean of the Cathedral
Archbishop Bruce Stavert announces the appointment of
Reverend Christian Schreiner to be
Rector of Quebec and Dean of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity.Christian spent two years at the Cathedral doing an internship following his ordination as a Lutheran pastor. Although currently serving as an ordained pastor in the Lutheran Church in Germany, Christian is also to be ordained to the priesthood in the Anglican Church of Canada in Quebec in June.

Advance notice: SYNOD 2009. The Diocesan Executive Council met by conference call on February 11th and they concurred with the Archbishop’s announcement that he would call the 81st Ordinary Synod of the Diocese of Quebec for May 28-31, 2009, to be held in our See City of Quebec. The installation of Bishop Dennis Drainville as the 12th Lord Bishop of Quebec will take place during that synod.
